So Much Has Happened!

David is almost 8 weeks old now and is growing so quickly! We have a lot to share since our last post...

David was 9 lbs. 2 ozs. and 211/2 inches at his one month check-up so we are looking foward to seeing how much more he has grown when we visit Dr. Magie again. He is looking more like his daddy everyday and smiles often. He is especially happy in the mornings and usually has plenty of smiles once his belly is full!!! He has already outgrown all the newborn clothes and is wearing lots of 3-6 months because he is so long (wonder where he gets his length from?!?) His hair has not fallen out at all since birth, infact it seems to be getting thicker!!! His eyes are still newborn blue, but we keep seeing hints of green and brown. He is such a joy, and we often find ourselves just staring at him in awe. We have posted some new pictures of him and will certainly have more to come...

He is getting so big. I can't believe all of the hair. We are anxious to meet him, hopefully Thanksgiving?! We are sleep deprived, but loving every minute of life with Claudia! Think of ya'll often. We'll talk soon.

    Love ya'll, Hope

Good to hear it isn't just our little one. She has quite a set of lungs! Yes, I am returning to work. January 3rd, so I'll be out 13 weeks with her. She will go to the day care owned by McLeod. So happy we were able to get it. Very competitive list and it was our top pick becuase it is child development, not just daycare. So, she will get an education there, as well. I am not looking forward to leaving her!

Glad to hear David is growing out of the fussy stage. It literally hurts my heart to hear her cry and not be able to soothe her! Everyone tells me I'll get used to it. I cried tonight after she cried!
