Happy Easter!
"Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in the newness of life." Romans 6;4
We know the true meaning of Easter is to celebrate and praise God for sending his Son to die for us. I could write for days about the subject, but thought I'd add a few pictures of David since this is his blog (and it's been awhile). He was so excited when he woke up this morning!
The picture above is of him smiling from ear to ear and talking up a storm as he looked through his basket. He LOVED seeing what the Easter bunny(s) had left him (thanks to all the grandparents for making up most of his loot).
He has several new Wiggles toys, including this book about sports.
I don't know who was more excited about this one... Trey couldn't wait for David to wake up from his nap to play a game with him! Actually, David has done nothing but talk about bask-ball since he got up today. He LOVES his new goal!
(Don't you just love the morning hair and wowed expression in this pic?)
Confession: I gave David this DVD as soon as it came in the mail... I couldn't wait to see it. He loves his new Baby Gamecock movie. He talks about "gamecocks" and "Cocky" all the time. If he sees a ball of any sort, he names the ball and then says gamecocks. We are doing our best to train him since we live so far from USC!
*You'll notice there are no pictures of us out on the lawn with David hunting eggs... this is partly because we've had really cold weather. Also, you'll notice the botched haircut. I'm so tired of "haircut people" who don't listen when I say we just need a trim!!! So, when it warms up and his hair is a bit longer, I'm going to dress him in his cute Easter clothes and get some great pictures. I'll post them when it happens!
