Baby Update: I went to the doctor today for a normal check up and I am now 13 weeks 3 days pregnant.


Here are the stats:

Baby heartbeat- 152
Blood pressure- can't remember
Weight gain- 2 lbs (which I had lost at the last appointment)
Current cravings- peaches, everything else is pretty much an aversion

The appointment was great! It took a few minutes to find the heartbeat, but I didn't panic. I remember it taking a while to find David's when he was the size of a small melon as well. We should be able to find out the gender in about 3 1/2 weeks! And, I get to stop my progesterone dosage which will hopefully give me back a little energy. Wahoo! We are so thankful and I'm looking forward to rounding that corner of feeling a little better. Thanks for all your prayers. God is good!

Happy Birthday Aunt B!!!

Today is Aunt B's birthday! We are missing her like crazy today, as she ALWAYS likes to make a big deal out of her birthday :)! Just to give you an idea of how significant this day is to me, it is my first memory ever. I can remember walking down the hallway at the hospital (with my nice black shoes on), where the room was located, and listening to her scream in the nursery while they held me up to the window so I could get a peek at my new sister. I guess even at the age of 3 I knew it was an amazing gift! You are so special to us and we hope you have a wonderful birthday Brittany Ann!!! David sends lots of hugs and would love some of that cookie cake I know you are enjoying!

I'm such a big boy!

Here is our "almost 2 year old"! I can't believe how fast David is growing. He speaks in sentences most of the time and he is very good at letting us know what he wants or doesn't want. My new favorite is if I ask him a question he'll reply "uh-huh!" or "noooo". We're working on yes/no mam/sir!

The t-shirt he is wearing is one of his favorites. He says "church" (it is a Keystone t-shirt) when he sees it and loves to run around with nothing else on. He is so much fun!

We're back... with EXCITING NEWS!!!

We are happy to report that we are almost 11 weeks pregnant with another sweet baby! After 2 miscarriages and complications in the beginning of this pregnancy (heavy spotting and bed rest), we feel blessed to be this far and are excited about the little one that should make an appearance around December 3, 2007. I was terrible with documenting how I felt, looked, etc... with David (could that be why I don't remember some of this???), so I'm back to hopefully keeping up with the blog again. I am always extremely tired for the first few months but I'll do my best. Please pray that this baby is healthy and that I remain calm as we INCH towards the second trimester!

*Oh, and an update on David... he's doing great and I will try to post pictures soon of all the "growing" he's been doing over the last few weeks! Sorry to all our friends and family that keep up with us through the blog... it's been a little crazy around here!
